Raining inside the Car
A friend of mine has a 2000 Toyota Camry. It was raining yesterday, and she said that it is "raining" in the car:

Any ideas on what this might cost to fix?

ain't raining in the car unless it's a 73 Targa doing 120kph with a head wind in a rain storm
THEN it's raining in the car... don't ask

Ask her if the windshield has ever been replaced... if it has, and she still has the paperwork, as far as I know, that seal is warranted and she won't have to pay.

As long as I'm doing 65mph or faster, I can drive in any kind of rain and not get wet. The targa bar catches some drops of rain, but not too many. It's pretty fun actually, seeing people's faces when I blow by them with the top off and it's raining like crazy... Regarding the OP, if there's a body seal around the roofline, that could be leaking. Honda Insights have a common problem where water leaks through some holes which are used for attaching the trim that runs up the side of the windshield and along the roof.

One million dollars.
Ok honestly, I had this problem with my 66 Mustang for years. Eventually I replaced the front windsheild seal, and it stopped leaking instantly. Once it leaked so much in a horrendous rainstorm while driving to Mount Vernon, IL from Ames, IA, that I had about 2 inches of standing water on the floor of the car. That was a wierd feeling. Bill |

I got it all dried out, then about a month later I pulled a fresh air lever in the passengers footwell (box like thing) and a quart or two of water came gushing out. This was back in 1982.

yeah, but that's only when there's a little bit of rain, and the roof is off
i'm talking 73S with roof in debatable condition, On the car, in a friggin downpour, buckets, and buckets, by the time i got to the place where i wanted to take the car apart for resto... the combined wetness and heat from the one side of the car that still had working flapperbox... it was like a frigging sauna... No radio, else it would ave been playing Tina Turner's Steamy Windows all by itself
