I have to go with Roger, he is what I saw when I was young.

I agree, when I think of James Bond, I think of Roger, it must be an age thing...

I agree because I know that Connery is probably the best, Brosnan is by far my favorite.

Interesting. I've heard this before. I also heard Connery, in "The Rock" was written as an old Bond, gracefully aged but still having his killer instincts, despite being imprisoned.

Connery and Craig you can actually believe possessed a "License to Kill". The others, no.

It was hard to accept the first change to Roger and i think that jades many people's views. If you can get over that, he was nearly as good as SC. The movie plot lines has a lot to do with it, of course.

Read Flemming's book and then see the films in that context..... Bond was 'English'...he was not a Scot... he was a 'lazy', sarcastic, supercilious SOB...and Roger encapsulates this best...an English Public School Boy... SC is a better actor and action hero... I sort of grew up with Rog but he's simply too smooth and not convincingly killer if you know what I mean.
1st.. Connery 2nd.. Craig 3rd.. Lazenby (No I'm not kidding, given another couple of films he would have been great) 4th.. Dalton |

I agree to a point. He WAS the best. Just saw the new one Friday night and watched Casino Royale last night again. I have to say I like that the 'new' Bond is a bit darker. But the new movies go a bit over board on the special effects.
