New motorcycle!!!!
Well, looks like the forum is infested with the motorbike virus, and it has finally reached Spain.
Here is my "new" '78 BMW R100RS. I just got her this morning in exchange for my '79 BMW 320 (e21). It has a boxer engine, so I hope she gets along well with her garaje mate (see pic). Now, let's wait for the weather to warm a bit... ![]() ![]()

Real nice !!!!
Hope you enjoy it. I wouldn't mind a R100RT or R80RT for long distance riding.

Terrific bike! What's are the first 10 things you're going to do to it?

Nice bike. Congrats. I've been thinking of looking around for an older bike - namely the first I ever owned. It was a '59 AJS, but now they are pretty rare. Enjoy.

Hi all,
The lower part of the fairing is carefully packed in a box together with many more parts. Looks like the previou owner thought there was too much heat coming from the cylinders!!! The bike is surprisingly confortable and has enough power for me, so it is a keeper. I have lusted for one of those for a loooong time, just like I have lusted for a 911. Now I have 2 and 6 cylinder boxers, so I need a Beetle to complete the collection ![]() Hmmm, first ten things, let me see, althugh I have already done some of them: 1. Insure it (done) 2. Go for a ride and fill gas (done) 3. Sit on it and grin (done, in a public parking!!!) 3. Check oil and fill if necessary (due today) 5. Take to a shop for a tune up 6. Go for a longer ride 7. Take my wife for a ride 8. Join a group ride of the local enthusiasts 9. Wash it!!! 10. More of 6, 7 and 8!!!! |

I fell in love with the 900cc version I believe it was a R90S? Beautiful machines that are designed right. Nice score and be safe out there.
