So I guess the "fee" is just another b.s. tax. Nothing to do with being "green".

A town near me, Red Bank is trying to push a plastic bag ban for all businesses.

What is the beef?

Stores already charge you for the bags (it is in their overhead, some in CA give you a refund if you use your own bags)) and you can easily avoid the new fee (tax). How lazy are you?

just so

I like using the boxes in the trunk, sans bags, you get a few boxes that will nest inside one another makes it pretty handy

it is revenue, any way they can generate it, bottom line, look for gasoline and other energy taxes to go up, a lot

Kali will be $28billion in the hole very soon. Last month $1-1.5billion alone. There are going to be many new revenue generation strategies.

You must have removed the bag too soon.
