I think ^this^ is far, far more likely than vThatv. I also saw an article that said that her house was raided and she was arrested for drugs. I suspect the drugs and modifications are due to trauma.

FYI, a red solo cup filled with random change, that has been compacted a few times to eliminate voids etc... usually yields around $75

The only thing I don't like is that it kicks out all the Canucks.

Family farmhouse. Anyone care to guess the year and what it was called?

Many of those Sears homes are iconic...from a time when exterior design mattered! I've wondered about this local example.

a little project to rebuild an old garden bench

I was offered an old garden bench for free so I decided to accept and rework it.

In addition to the new wood (5/4 red oak, thoroughly polyurethaned for weather protection) replacing the old rotted 5/8 "Chinese hardwood" (?), the iron frame sides were reworked to create the flanges to hold the back slats, stripped and repainted. A new center brace was fabricated and new bronze hardware replaced the old rusty & missing stuff.

Nice work on the bench! I just fixed up this one a few weeks ago. Got them on a scrap run it was just the rusty mangled side pieces. I had some slats from another old bench cedar i think. But there was only 5 so i cut them in half and made it a 1 seater. The table was also in a bad way i had the glass top sitting around. I have since found a big piece of slate I replaced it with much more better for the garden.

Damn straight. I wish I still had my stingray, and my scrambler. You've probably seen the Cimarron. No more salt air adventures for that bad boy!
