24 hours of pit lane
I've been watching speed channel off and on most of the day.
I've seen several hours of pit stops, countless pit tours, never-ending interviews, too many pit crew members sleeping to count, and several facilities tours. A little while ago they showed nearly one minute of actual cars out on the track .... get this ..... racing. I'm totally serial. There really is a car race going on. Who'da thunk? I'm quite sure that short clip of car racing was shown by mistake, I just hope the director doesn't lose his job for getting distracted and showing part of the race. Are you kidding me?! Damn! I'm on a trip and I've got it all set to record on the DVR. So I've wasted hours of space on my DVR for everything but racing? Great.

French TV which provides the world wide feed from the track locations shuts down and lets their staff go sleep for the night. They may leave some cameras on in a fixed position so if something happens in front of the camera you could see it. The feeds from the in car cameras have been shown some. Thus the only way to fill is with the on site SPEED cameras in the pits.
Should get better after croissants and espresso. I hope. |

I appreciate seeing these cars up close, but..................It's a race not, a car show.

Why is that corner guy standing in front of the Dunlop Bridge, in what looks like a very precarious position? He has no where to go if someone loses control.

Is the 'Flying Lizard' car still in the race?
I thought I heard there was an incident. ![]() KT
