While I don't watch the show, I am in the "biz" and it was in todays Variety that the show has gone on "unplanned" hiatus til August.

I wouldn't be surprised if, like you say, it's a stunt with the old "Boy gets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back". The viewers will eat that ***** up.

It just reinforces my view that most of the media are scumbags for whom hell has not enough fury....

I would like to think that any moral producer would draw the line and refuse to produce this show, the fact that their marriage came to an end in all probability due to the added stresses of public life ought to have been enough to call it quits.

I'd put the producers at the same level as pimps, drug dealers and politicians....

They live about 2 miles from me and I tried watching the show a few times just for the novelty of seeing local places on the tube. The novelty wore off real fast! I really pity the kids.

If it is based on the money they are making now by working for the show, they can never stop the show because they will never be able to pay child support based on what they are making now.
If they were smart, which obviously they aren`t, they would be faking all that and use the money they get to resolve their issues, and reconciliate. But what do I know, I am not following that show .
