Be a man. Get the "off road" Crocs. We live on a lake and they are on my feet if I'm within 100 yards of the water. Easy on-off, great to wear in the water if the bottom is rocky, and the off-road are a little less, uh....feminine. Just as comfy.

Now...where's my pocket protector?

Are these really that comfortable for standing and working all day? I need a very comfortable shoe for screen printing and heat pressing, both put a lot of pressure on your feet.

They would be PERFECT for that. In the operating room we stand for hours on concrete floors with our heads tilted down. Terrible posture. For years I had foot and lower back pain after surgery. I tried several types of expensive shoes with no improvement. A pair of $25 Crocs solved the problem.

Well crap!

I suppose I will have to try a pair.

You can't really argue with a doc, especially with his personal experience.

Here's a pic of my work posture. Awful. Puts a lot of pressure on your back and feet.

Does your patient know that you've pulled your mask up clear over your eyes? Just askin'.

Not into footware but ran across these on the net (Vibram Five Fingers) - apparently they're more than a joke since some serious runners are even running in them. I think they're funny as hell, might even buy a pair.

Very cool. I would have enjoyed being a surgeon.

but try pressing a lever down with 45 pounds of force to lock a platen in place, wait 7 seconds, lift up to release, swing away...1,000 times in a day. Love having my very own sweatshop.

I had a friend who saw this, email and forbid be to get a pair on an aesthetics basis alone, but for $25 I may have to try a pair.
