Yep, that might happen...but I figure they'll come after the old Porsches first..."special interest car" legislation of the various states allowing old cars to go without smog will be overturned at the federal level.

Yet again, the '73 is a smaller car, takes up less room, uses smaller tires, weighs less... I can go on and on and on with examples of how consumers can avoid supporting unions (ooops, did I write that? )
