So how are all of you in Oklahoma doing? The news up here is talking about nothing but killer storms.

The storms were all east of the OKC metro. We had some crazy winds. 67 MPH gusts with mostly clear sky. There are green leaves all over the place that have been stripped from the trees.

The killer storms aren't here...

Norton is a memory HOG, I can tell when it is running on a computer, not so with AVG. Have you used the latest AVG? I switched to it from Norton 360 after getting a virus on my Vista Computer. I have only had AVG fail me once, and I honestly think nothing would have stopped that bug. AVG will run its scans at a slower pace if you are using the computer. You can't tell it is working in the background.

its been raining all day, here. it is supposed to rain all day tomorrow. then it is nice weather on wednesday, when i am working. rain all day thursday. then clearing up for friday, saturday, and sunday, again just in time for me to be at work. there is my whine for the day.

tomorrow, i am going to the rifle range, regardless, to shoot my black powder rifle. i got some new bullets i want to try. i am thinking about getting the stuff to cast my own minie-balls. the black powder bullets, which are simple cast lead, are up to .70 EACH. that is ridiculous, IMO. my pistol ammunition costs about .40 each for .40SW, if i get the FMJ winchester white box stuff.

anyone here have experience casting lead bullets?

my latest batch of homebrew. please don't judge its appearance, just yet. it was kegged yesterday, this was what wouldn't fit in the keg. it hasn't settled out, nor is it carbonated. i'll take another picture in about a week or two of the same beer:

What is that rain stuff? I hear rumors that water just falls out of the sky in some places but it does not do that here anymore.
