the problem, as i understand it, using a harness without the bar is that the angles for the straps are much to acute. it can and has been done, its just not the best way to use harnesses. perhaps you could put a bar in that is easy to remove.

I assume the SRDs have harness holes? That will keep the straps roughly were they need to be. But I would still look for a bolt in bar.

I wondered about that. In a normal setting the straps exit the seat and go to the back where the bar is. I guess I will give up the idea as I like putting the top in the back seat.

Good will? I live in a micro brew mecca got a fav I can ship?

David. You can't run harnesses without some sort of bar. Without, in an accident, the straps can slide, pull down on your shoulders and break your back.

not sure I see that if the straps pass thru the seat and go back to a bar or down the back of the seat. But your probably right.

Didn't notice they have holes until after I posted. Not sure about that situation.

same problem. you really really need a bar. without a bar, you are better off, IMO, with the regular seat-belt.

you did notice that the car in the picture has a bar.....

Went and rode the motorcycle for a few miles as the sun sat. Gorgeous night...

I need a bigger bike. The NX250 is too big for my parents acreage, and too small for the road. I would love to get a bigger duc....

Stijn!!

I stay away from bars. I can drink a few bears at home a lot cheaper.

I like the storage as well.
