GPS is only as accurate as the military lets it. That GPS I posted last night is accurate to inches.

inches would be great but only if we are all playing with the same system.

it is my understanding that there is a lot of slop built into civilian GPS systems in order to prevent them being used to guide missiles and such.

that would be true. I have a friend who has another brand. we can be 10' apart and both gps systems will tell you that your in the same place.

Jumped in a plane, flew up the coast to Santa Barbara for a cross country flight and a late lunch. Fun! Good flight.

Cool I love to fly. Been up in lots or cool planes. Some fast some slow. The Boeing air museum has a full moving flight sim. I managed to scare the crap out of my kid, he does not like to be upside down I guess. Not the same as the real thing but fun.

Weren't looking for the line... Cut smooth through it with the trencher... Had to use the backhoe to make a big enough hole to patch the line. No way in hell we were digging down to 24" in a hard packed gravel drive....
And yes, we did have everything required to fix the line right on hand... |

On our own property, we really thought that particular line was about 15' to the east....

here in WA you call and get them located. dig up something not covered by the location marks they pay. Dig up a utility without have them marked you pay big time.
