Once you learn what you need to do in PT you can simply do it yourself.

Or you go the whole time, b/c a good therapist will change the treatments as you strengthen.

Therapy is like antibiotics, go the full course....

I blew an ankle and had to have surgery. The PT after the fact was murder. One day after weeks of pain and excercise something went pop and hurt like hell. I sat down and thought for sure I had just screwed it up. Nope she says "we were waiting for that your done"

After you get to that point, they are supposed to mix it up, and make it harder.

Sid, my mother was a PT, that was all she did in her entire life,(50+ years) I have forgotten more about PT than most people will ever know.

Dude, never mess with a PT. My mom was 4-11 and she could put me on the floor with 2 itty bitty little fingers. They know EXACTLY how to make you hurt as well as heal.
