Night,

Browsing for a 900 now, it looks better too.

they are pretty much the same bike, just more HP and torque. being that the 900 only has 80 and 50, respectively, the 900 just makes more sense (IMO) for a grown man. i think the 750 only produces ~65 and ~42, respectively.

I guess the suspension work paid off. I used to have a LOT more lean on the corners.

looking really good!

Bike photos do nothing for me. I just don't have that urge. No donor-cycle for me.

Porsche-poor 08-10-2011 10:08 AM

I had one in high school. Sold it to go to college. got a 911 instead but man I want one.

GH85Carrera 08-10-2011 10:24 AM

A friend of mine died in high school, driving his motorcycle to school. He was like most teenagers and thought he was invulnerable. He was wrong. That was my first time to know someone that died.

Another friend had to be the most careful motorcycle driver on the planet. He drove his other riding buddies crazy. He almost lost his leg to a stupid red light runner. He walks with a very bad limp now.

I know accidents happen all the time in cars as well. But that steel car body does a lot of protecting.

Different strokes for different folks. I ain't different enough to want to ride a donor cycle. That is just me.

Porsche-poor 08-10-2011 11:16 AM

i can understand that. I want one but not getting one. traffic here would kill me.

Rick V 08-10-2011 02:45 PM

I don't own one because I am a speed freak

nynor 08-10-2011 02:46 PM

i own one because i am a speed freak.

honestly, my 951 scares me more than the ducati.

nynor 08-10-2011 02:47 PM

speaking of the 951, i am in the middle of a new timing belt and balance shaft belt. everything is torn down, waiting for the new belts. reassembly on friday. oh yeah!

Rick V 08-10-2011 02:51 PM

D when I say I am a speed freak I really mean it, I know exactly at what speeds my cars max out at and in Lanna (the lowest number of the bunch) I hit it on a regular basis. Bike+Rick=slurpee

Porsche-poor 08-10-2011 03:55 PM

Better let the wife drive then.

Rick V 08-10-2011 04:06 PM

She will not get on a bike, she dumped my old Kill-Ya-Soski and ended up with a concussion

Porsche-poor 08-10-2011 05:09 PM

Smart woman.

Rick V 08-10-2011 05:13 PM

Delivered a 57K lbs track for a crane to a wind mill farm in northern N.H. this morn.
12 miles up a dirt road (read mud...it rained) spun out 3 times and had to back up and try again.
One hill took 3 tries. Can't get a run on them when your in the corner gear just crawling.
Truck and trailer look like i ran them through a swamp.
