It must be some sort of convention. It was just a random photo. I posted it here instead of the random pictures thread since it is Friday and we need more chick photos.

I average just under 4,000 miles a year on my 911. Most of that has been trips to Porsche Parade. I do autocross it almost every month. And I drive it on the track when I get the chance.

It is insured as a pleasure vehicle and not a daily driver.

not really, alignment had been out earlier this year, from potholes, and generally agressive driving style.. so the tires wore out uneven.. by the time i noticed and had Bimforce-1's suspension re-aligned (as well as was possible).. the tire was unevenly toasted.

But i was happy with slicks because it was summer, dry.. kept driving.
today co-worker says ; dude, tire.. gone.. mental.

Teh tire was just gone all round, the cord was visible in that spot ,but nearly visible all round the tire..

Wow with the alignment that far out I would think it was pulling to the side.

My rear tires took a beating at Roebling Road this summer. It is a series of high speed corners. I had the tail hung out several times with the throttle pinned to the floor in 4th gear. The rear tires will have to be replaced pretty soon and the fronts still have a lot of tread left.

My favorite ON ramp is just a few miles from my house. It is a very sharp left -right then a blast to the speed limit of 70. Almost everyone is doing 80 anyway so running to redline in third is fun.

I come in from the top, it is a hard left to get on the on-ramp, then a hard right to get on the interstate.

With all the traffic on the interstate moving fast I HAVE to get up to the speed limit ASAP to merge right?
