Hey my Dad would like this one. It has Katy Perry in it.

I like the sounds of both of those bands. Most of the people around campus that blast music blast vulgar rap noise so I am glad it is not that.
I prefer a little more high-energy stuff than Carbon Leaf and Alpha Rev but maybe I just did not listen to enough of the songs.

They are good to have in the mix. I will usually throw them on in the evening when I am just sitting around relaxing. I have two airport expresses in my apartment, so I can pull up music on my phone or MacBook and stream it wirelessly over the speakers in my livingroom, or bedroom, or both.

Yes, there are times when I would want something more mellow. Some Jethro Tull songs are good for that.

I think I just put in more hours studying the last few days, than my entire HS and college days. I really thought I was done back then!

I had forgot about this reasonable picture of me until some (expletives deleted) creep got all up in my grill earlier today in another thread.
Nice thing about being short is I can fit in a Lotus, at least with the top off. ![]() LA Autoshow 11.20.2010_ 049 by Max_911S_fahrer, on Flickr

Are there differential equations on the pilot test?

Yup. Physics is involved. Especially when trying to figure out where CG is going to end up when loading fuel, baggage, pax...

Sweet, bring 'em on. I hope they are linear. Unless I can use MATLAB. Then I could take on most anything.

The problems are not as complex as you are probably used to seeing though.

Hey, did anyone notice the redecorating Wayne did on the home page? That must be the reason for the server slowdown earlier.

Is it the kind where you just guess e^st and solve for s?

That's not a differential equation, that is just a statics problem.
Now, if you wanted an equation for the deflection of the beam and had some material properties, I could do that. That is a differential equation.

I like the spring-mass-damper ones.
mxdoubledot plus cxdot plus kx equals F*sine(omega*time+phi)

But I find it really cool stuff since that's what's going on in the suspension of your car.
