I quite think I'd look good in an expensive suit, with her at my side in an Aston Martin...

Thats actually kinda a goal I have... To be able to afford expensive suits and Aston Martins....

Flieger 11-01-2011 09:55 PM

You got your Walther PPK already?

Don't forget the gold chains.

Like all the baseball players wear? I always think that looks so uncomfortable and like it would mess up their playing.

How's the pilot stuff going Dave?

slodave 11-01-2011 10:19 PM

Hasn't gone anywhere this week. Instructor cancelled today... We'll see tomorrow...

Flieger 11-01-2011 10:21 PM

My Dad was also interested to hear about it. He only got about as far as you are now before he had to quit due mostly to funding issues. Soloed many times but was a few hours short of what he needed before doing the check ride.

slodave 11-01-2011 10:27 PM

Lack of funds will do it. :)

driveby morning.

Off to the CHP tomorrow to see if I can get the new motorbike registered. I was missing some federal compliance sticker, so the butthead at the DMV wouldn't sign off on the title transfer...a month ago. I have to go to some VIN officer at the CHP, supposedly to make sure the vehicle isn't stolen. Why can't they just hook up access to the computer data base of stolen vehicle VINs directly to the DMV? What am I missing? (Other than that sticker.)

slodave 11-01-2011 11:27 PM

That would be too easy?

livi 11-01-2011 11:47 PM

Yes it is.
Well it rained on me all day at my one day of work for the week.
But I had a great day.
Got my work done, and did a good job.
Need to buy a new turbo to go with all my other new parts.
Yep ,a great day. :):):)

I am happy for you, Vas! And that happiness rubs off on all of us I believe.
