What! Where are his priorities? I guess we know where we stand, or sit.

leaving negative feedback for a couple of knuckleheads on ebay was very satisfying, i must say. i gave them every opportunity.

Sometimes it is nice just to vent in public.

trust me, it was deserved.

one of them was for a camera i bought, to replace the exact model that i lost at 110MPH on I80 and was run over, that was described as hardly used. when i got it, it had 4300+ pictures on the clock, worn print on the buttons, a dirty strap, and carry case that had obviously gotten wet several times. the seller had zero to say about my complaints and i waited a couple of weeks to hear back.

the above is venting.

i just stated the facts in my feedback. they are going to have fun selling stuff in the future.

p-shaw!

I hate ebay. I sold some old car parts when I first got the 911 but its gone down hill.

nynor 11-01-2011 02:22 PM

i don't hate ebay. its a great place to buy stuff that is hard to find and/or not necessarily new.

that said, two ridiculous purchases in a matter of two weeks. i did get a proper mirror for my wife's subaru.

GH85Carrera 11-01-2011 02:25 PM

Ebay has uses, but it sure is a challenge to get what you expect sometimes.

Porsche-poor 11-01-2011 02:29 PM

True I will need it for the guitar build but if I can limit it I'll be happy.

RKDinOKC 11-01-2011 02:29 PM

Woo Hoo! One (1) hour of driving around after the brain swap and it's still running!

GH85Carrera 11-01-2011 02:32 PM

Cool, so it was your brain that was confused.
I guess your car learned from the driver! ;)

well, i've had about 150 transactions on ebay, most of them as a buyer. prior to this, only two of them were problematic: one as a buyer and one as a seller.

i really need to come out to OK and meet you guys. i wonder if i could make it all the way across the country with a pony keg in the car.

RKDinOKC 11-01-2011 02:42 PM

Just put the pony keg in the middle of the rear hatch with a NOS sticker on it and a couple of hoses coming out the top.

RKDinOKC 11-01-2011 02:47 PM

When I found my GTS it was listed on ebay, autotrader, and cars.com. Didn't actually buy it from the ebay listing though.

somehow, i don't think that would pass muster. but really funny!

Porsche-poor 11-01-2011 03:58 PM

probably a sure fire way to earn a ticket instead of a warning.

porsche4life 11-01-2011 04:29 PM

Put it in smaller containers, and hide it under the rear carpet of the 944? There are some big wells back there....

You are welcome to stay with me if you come down. If the weather is decent we can arrange some spoon shooting....
