Oh ,and an out of proportion amount of good looking chicks.
Oh, and they love men in the medical field.
Oh, they seem to love the Sweeds.
Being an island we have no conflict.
Only 20 million people in a big country, plenty of room.
The government pays you if you are in the med field to move here.
And you can drive your Porsche all year.
I wont go on. :)

Vas, how about some pics from Australia? Would be great to see your neighborhood. The general scenery.

I will put something together for you.
It may take a few days.
I live in RYE Victoria.
I have the surf beach on one side and the bay on the other.
About one hour from Melbourne, the best city in Australia. :)

Doing ok.
Pretty soon I'll let the office know that I won't accept the new job... How they will react is a mystery. Could go either way. But I'm looking for other kobs already to be sure.
If they would fire me today, It'll be at least another three months before I actually am without work.
Stressy situation and I want it to be over.

Not sure if you should let them know anything... play dumb.

Unless you have a new job lined up, you have nothing to gain by telling them anything proactively.

So If you don't mind the new job, but want to keep the car.
just go to teh new gig, don't sign any new paper work and keep the car.

If they put you on the spot, and ask you to sign something you don't want to sign.
Stall.
Tell them you need check the new contract out and will get back to them
Then toss them in the bottom shelf of your desk.

Remember, you did not ask or want change. And in your current arrangement , you have the advantage.. But that means you play dumb and call their bluff ..
If you don't, you give away every advantage you have. Including the better settlement if they want to fire you.

Don't give them any thing they can use against you.
If they ask you for reasons, simply say, i'm happy as it is now. I like my job now.
Don't say things that reflect on the new gig, like "the job is less satisfying" or "i don't like the new contract" or "i don't want to give up the car".

If already left the place in your mind, they don't have to know that.
Let them sweat it, and either they will improve their offer, or they will have to get you fired.
If fired, you want to get the full package.

oh, if fired, do not simply return the car on the same day.
if it's in your contract, then you get to use the car in your severance period.. That's handy for job interviews. trust me, with current fuel cost, that's a BIG help.

First one to make a move in such negotiations, usually ends up loosing the advantage.

They are, getting caught using them is just the same as removing the cat, it can involve federal boys and lots of thousands of dollars and potentially jail time. They are for off road use only
