Made some more bullets, starting to get the hang of it, an entire batch without any crushed or missed primers (not counting those first 4 bullets that got made without a primer, because i had forgotten to set the inital primers up for the first bullets)..

According to my spreadsheet, i'm starting to close in on the return on investment.
Or rather, the Dillon is starting to pay back it's cost, slow but steady.

Have about 450 rounds made so far, at about 6 to 7000 , it will just powder , primers and bullets .. If i load up on Lead SWC's with VV N350, that comes to half price of factory ammo..

Just gotta try and not loose the brass, which kinda works because the handloads don't eject as far as the factory stuff.

Another warm day here. Gonna play out in the garage some more. I want to torque down the exhaust manifold bolts on the Elky again. Hopefully they will stay tight after this.

Okay finally got around to re wiring my home stereo, I hate that job. but damn I miss having the music. Think we need to watch some kind of shoot-um-up flick. This much power and cubes of speaker have to be used. :)

i used to be big on stereo hifi gear, these days i can't be arsed anymore, got me a small portable stereo that can either play music off my pc's mp3 collection or stream internet radio..

it's loud enough but won't damage my ears.

If it plays music or video I can play it. We use an old HP laptop to download what we want and it stays hooked up to the TV and stereo.

I like the apple tv, and the airport express in my audio stack. I can shoot music and video wirelessly to my setup that way. From any iTunes enabled computer, or any i device.

Gonna paint the front fence today. Tedious.

Thats why we don't have a fence.....

Fence on three sides of our place... All barbed wire, maintained by the cattle owning neighbors....

I hate fences.

I do to. All fences including wood working fences.

I just feel they compound the "this is mine" attitude. I know they serve a purpose but.........

In my case I had to put one up to keep the rotten neighbor out. The letter from the wife didn't do it.

Proper fences turn nosey neighbors into bloody neighbors....

Man, I can't imagine what the poa would do if I put up a fence.....

The fence keeps our dog in the front yard. That's a good thing. She could easily jump over it, but she doesn't. It also keeps others' dogs from pooping on our front lawn, which is nice. (At the end of the block is a large apartment complex that allows pets.) And it (the fence) was there when we bought the house.

I hate painting

Had that problem once about 10 years ago. The low life crap basket waists of flesh that rented the house next door pushed me beyond my ability to maintain self control. I bought the house from the landlord and showed up with a video camera, the sheriff, and an eviction notice.

There is a fence between me and the neighbor on the other side because they have a couple of dogs. I understand the need for fencing, I just don't like them.

That would have been interesting to watch :D
