2 hour commutes suck!

Rick V 01-23-2012 01:17 AM

Morning guys. Man I really don't want to go back to work

Geronimo '74 01-23-2012 01:23 AM

Mornin' Rico. :)

Rick V 01-23-2012 01:25 AM

Morning G, so why the long commute?

azzarule 01-23-2012 01:28 AM

Evening Gents,

long time no post, have been busy doing "stuff". Haven't gone back to work after Christmas yet, been working from home though.

The 72 911 is almost, lets not get over enthusiastic, is coming along, actually had the engine first fire up on Sunday, it only took two days, to sort out the oil pressure. Nice ***wit who put the engine together in the USA ( a little over two years ago) apparently put the internal oil thermostat in back-wards, so no oil was able to get passed it, aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh. But that hurdle is now passed, and now we just need to tune her up, put the front and rear windows in, put the interior back in, bleed brakes blah blah blah blah the list goes on, but getting there.

Have been keeping an eye on you gents, and you are such a bunch of weirdos, but I am so glad that you all have each other to communicate with, but I also have fb.

oh yeah HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Rick V 01-23-2012 01:33 AM

Who you calling a weirdo?

back in Brussels for a few days...
My new office job is ten minutes away from my home, now that is comfortable.
A 2 hour commute and traffic jams, not so much...

You have been called worse than that... :d

Morning Azza, long time no hear!

Rick V 01-23-2012 01:50 AM

True that just not yet, today. Notice I said yet, the day is young. :)

Rick V 01-23-2012 02:24 AM

Okay my monster black cat has started something new. When someone knocks on my door or the door opens he will growl like a dog. He did that when I came home yesterday, when Beth came back from the store and now when my son just stopped by.
Guard kitty. Yikes!!

Geronimo '74 01-23-2012 02:46 AM

when she starts barking, that's when you should worry..

Rick V 01-23-2012 02:55 AM

yeah, and post it on you tube

Rick V 01-23-2012 03:27 AM

Okay off to work I go. Taking a few days off and just relaxing, made me realize that I really do hate my frigging job. I can not wait to sell my house so I can get off the hamster wheel.

Boris does that, it's funny as hell

RKDinOKC 01-23-2012 05:01 AM

My stupid cat growls at me all the time. When someone comes to the door, the dog barks and the cat runs.

RKDinOKC 01-23-2012 05:04 AM

I think the death of the rc heli is going to be from flying around in the house dragging the cat toy.

Good morning folks.

G, I am sure the two hour commute sucks. At least it is just temporary.

For over 20 years I lived within 3/4 of a mile from work. I could pop home for lunch and take a nap. I would get up at 7:30 take a shower & read the paper and still be at work by 8:00. Now I have to drive 8 miles and it takes 12 minutes on average.

Richard has the quickest commute possible.

Geronimo '74 01-23-2012 06:03 AM

Morning Glen,

I left at 7 this morning and arrived at the office past 9...
That is not very good for my mood...

I live about 5 miles from the headoffice. Not having to get up too early is easy getting used to... :)

So did you drive your 911 to work for the two hours?

Is the engine broken in yet?
