The attitude out in the country is shocking.

The "pride" crap used as cover for nationalistic racist sentiment is sad.
Its not just in Australia.
When I was young I knew a nazi skinhead.
He used that word pride as a cover all the time.

It's a bit gross but I can't look away... :D

While I can appreciate the hours of work that goes into this art, it's not really my thing. I find few pieces of this work that I can truly call art, most of it is absolute crap.

What is truly sad is that the artist gets a pittance of the true value of this work, the mark up is horrendous. Most artists receive a few hundreds dollars for the commission, where the dealer will command thousands. And in these cases the artist is totally unaware of the rip off, and is mostly interested in where their next meal or bottle of alcohol is coming from. Because of this, I rarely support this industry.

True, it is a bit primitive for my taste too.
I just wanted to post a relevant picture. It also kind of represents a lot of the unjustice against the Australian natives. (spoken from a European viewpoint)
