Geronimo '74 01-28-2012 04:01 AM

Lol, nobody... :-)

I got my sights set on some Ruf A pillar aero strips in the for sale section.
Hopefully they are real ones and no repros.

Rick V 01-28-2012 04:04 AM

Got my sights set on some windshield time with Lanna today. We had severe downpours yesterday and all the sand and salt are gone. Weeeeeeee mother nature is being nice for a change

Geronimo '74 01-28-2012 04:08 AM

I think I'm going to clean my car inside out.
Getting my new tags later this week.

svandamme 01-28-2012 06:43 AM

You do realize that Ruf sells em new for 125 USD a set?

Geronimo '74 01-28-2012 07:01 AM

In germany they are 150€ + 20% tax + shippingcosts. Making them cost well over 200 € before they get here.

Now they will be 220 $ delivered.

I did not know they were only 125 at Ruf USA.

Not gonna back out now, i said I was going to take them and I will.
If I would have really searched for a cheap set, I may very well have gotten them even cheaper.
For me this is cheap enough,

GH85Carrera 01-28-2012 07:26 AM

Good morning guys.

Geronimo '74 01-28-2012 08:14 AM

GH85Carrera 01-28-2012 08:40 AM

GH85Carrera 01-28-2012 08:54 AM

I fail to understand your math... I can't imagine DE shipping costing that much for something that weighs practically nothing. They would have to charge 35 euro before tax for shipping to be more expensive then what you pay now... For 35 euro, i had me an engine block send from Holland to DE once

I paid 38€ shipping to get four Ruf centercaps from Germany to Belgium...
Ruf sends their stuff with whatever shipping company they choose. Which is not the cheapest...
Anyway, they're paid for already 175€ (224$), delivered.

svandamme 01-28-2012 09:14 AM

Ah, 220 usd all in , i misread 220 euro
38 euro shipping for centercap? brutal

Geronimo '74 01-28-2012 09:21 AM

38€, no joke.

I can't stop shopping for stuff for my car.
Maybe I should start adding milage instead of adding bills...
