I'm in love. For the past 2 days at least. I tossed it on the ground 2 nights ago in frustration, and the thing's now (completely) broken. No calls in 2 days. Heaven.

I did that to a Razr phone a few years ago. It was giving m some problems, then one night it would not make a call. I got frustrated, slammed it on a table and broke the screen. Pissed, I went to the ATT store to complain, only to find out that the reason I could not make calls, was because ATT had an outage in the L.A. area.

porsche4life 02-03-2012 05:14 PM

The volume buttons on my phone have been doing hinky things, that and it keeps dropping data service. Still will make calls, but won't get online or send pictures...

Mine's a RAZR. Everyone makes fun of it. As if it's the same vintage as the original brick-sized cellular phones.

HHI944 02-03-2012 05:28 PM

Howdy all!......

The neck I am building for Daivd's SG project is almost ready to be shipped back to him.

If all goes as planned, it'll be back on the way to Washington early next week. Then it's all on David to finish the neck and the rest of the SG. :D

HHI944 02-03-2012 10:14 PM

So, is that solid guitar or spanish guitar??

slodave 02-03-2012 10:18 PM

This is for the rare, Gibson "Spanish Guitar". :D

HHI944 02-03-2012 10:21 PM

lol, looks awesome....wish I could work with wood.....I'm way to ADD, I just screw it up and end up hurting myself.....otherwise, I would probably make a grip for my P9S....

slodave 02-03-2012 10:26 PM

Gotta tell you, I had ADHD as a kid and ADD as an adult. I know all about attention spans, but ADD is funny. If you enjoy something - like the above - the ADD doesn't show. This is true for a lot of ADD sufferers. I do jump around a little bit, but it usually is coordinated with part of the project. When I turn bowls, I tend to jump from working on the outside to the inside and back and forth.

HHI944 02-03-2012 10:28 PM

Yeah, I'm a bit the same way.....but seriously, if I have something sharp...someone has to bleed....since wood doesn't bleed, that leaves me...

vas930 02-03-2012 10:43 PM

Thats some nice work, Dave.

slodave 02-03-2012 10:55 PM

Thanks, Vas. I'm having more and more fun with this. I really wish I could turn it into something that makes money.
