Just give her a call.
If you woke up with ya pants on , it cant be that bad.

Listen to this guy Sid, he has his lucid moments.
just give her a call. If it's screwed beyond repair, at least you'll know and can move on. Not knowing is far worse than the rejection.

I know she is busy today and wouldn't necessarily be able to talk even if she wasn't mad. I did send her a message this morning when I woke up. No reply... :(

Usually during the day we exchange texts... Never anything major but still makes me happy... Knowing why I'm not getting any messages today makes it worse... I don't know what I'm going to say when we talk, but it'll have to be good....

And yes, I woke up clothed... Just said some stupid stuff last night is all...

vas930 02-11-2012 12:38 PM

Nice words, Joe.

Yep, dont waste a day not knowing.
You never get that day back.

Dont plan what you are going to say, Sid.
It never fits the moment.
Stay cool, if you know what you said you can talk about it.
If what you said was no big deal and she is making it a big deal.
Then thats a warning to you.
Sometimes these things move things up a notch.
If she is hurt, you know she cares.
Its all good if you take action. :)

You know what you have to do Sid so I'll leave ya with this quote :
If something is to be done, one should proceed firmly. The inattentive practitioner is more scattered than the dust..

Its just a matter of her wanting to talk now... I know she does care, and I can tell by reading her messages from last night.

Yes Joe, I know what I need to do. Now I just need to wait for the right time and go for it. My confidence is one thing that she likes and that has gotten me to this point....

HHI944 02-11-2012 01:14 PM

On hold with geico again......these people suck. This person asked me if I had a repair estimate yet.......I almost snapped....the damn car has been at their shop over a month.....

Okay had a few errands to run with Beth. We were heading through the parking lot where she started fussing because she couldn't find her glasses. Looking in her purse, pockets, ect. In a very deadpan voice I asked her if the ones she was looking for were the ones on her face.
I was told to shut up. :)

HHI944 02-11-2012 01:59 PM

Excellent!

But drunk Sidney did develop a new skill last night.... Managed to piss off a girl that I really, really care about, just via text message.... Last night she left with that I wasn't to talk to her today.... Still not sure how I am going to remedy this situation.... It sucks because things were going well for us....

Man, you screwed the pooch just before Valentines day.
Look at it from a glass half full perspective.

You probably weren't getting laid anyway, but at least you don't have to spend Valentines day money to not get laid.
You turned a loose (you) - win (her) situation into a loose less - not winning situation
(unless she has a date with another guy set up, which she probably already had anyway, that's what girls do)

vas930 02-11-2012 02:13 PM

Now the AC Comp has died on the Suby.
Close to $2000 to fix.
Car has only done 140k.

Rick V 02-11-2012 02:20 PM

2k? Holy crap I can remove the entire system and replace it with brand new for less than that

svandamme 02-11-2012 02:23 PM

2 grand for an AC compressor ?!?
Is it gold plated?

Rick V 02-11-2012 02:27 PM

For that kind of coin I would not fix it and not be cool (okay swing for the fences)

vas930 02-11-2012 02:33 PM

It is a new one.
Still sounds like $$$
It should last longer than that.

Rick V 02-11-2012 02:36 PM

Holy crap it is cold and that 40mph wind doesn't help. I just stepped outside and felt my boys slam upward into my stomach. (Note to self, there is nothing outside I need)
