The snow is mostly no big deal here in central OK at the moment. Just a couple of inches and it is mostly melted on the roads. Just slush and gunk on my clean El Camino. :(

My wife gets to go in 2 hours late.

There is a band of possible freezing rain coming. I hate frozen water of any sort falling from the sky, but snow is better than freezing rain. :eek:

Didn't have to call in the rescue team. Able to manage the hallway with no difficulty. There was a moment when the whiteness outside disoriented me, but was able to get my bearings and soldier on.

Actually, I hopped in the Rover and splashed my way over to Burger King and got me some Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Croissants. They are on sale 2 for $3.

The only window in this entire building is the front door. It looks North. I can see the major highway that most of the commuters use to get from Edmond to downtown Oklahoma City. The traffic is backed up for a long way. Somehow standing inside looking out the door with a hot cup of coffee watching other suckers stuck in traffic always maks me smile. I guess because I am not in the string of traffic going 5 MPH.

And they are usually going a whole 15mph on non-wintery days

I love the fact I get to exit before the cluster fuch area. Once the construction project on that intersection is done it will be great. But I think that is scheduled for completion in 2016.

Slushy wet and cold, and I have to run errands. Must be Monday.

Any idea on when they can start working on your 928 engine?

Huh, vaguely remember owning a Mercedes a long time ago....maybe it was just a dream.

I think you pay money to a lizard company to provide aggravation for supposed coverage on a car they hold hostage.

Dreaming would certainly explain why I've yet to hear anything when they promised someone would call me first thing this morning....

They are just storing the Merc. It is easier than fixing it.

They're gonna be storing my foot up their ass soon....
