Yeah that one is still a ford owned product. Still designed and built in the land of rusting aluminium....
jeff, that looks beautiful. I really need to take a technology free vacation somewhere like that soon. Say hi to the pissed off 20ft lizards for me |
Dropped by the dealer to see if it would be ready today.....no love. .....said the computer updates can take several hours......then they're gonna detail it...
|
Im not typically a big fan of white cars, but with the two tone interior, it just looks right in person....
|
Got word that there is an almost brand now M1a for sale from a collector..
Going to go check it out later this week, and if it is what it is, put down a deposit. |

My idea is slightly more destructive... |
Well i'de love a company car like that, but i think it might be tricky to get the permit for it's 2 guns (main & coax)
|
Yeah, that would pose a pretty big problem even on this side of the pond....
No one would ever cut you off though.....at least not more than once |
Seriously though, m1a's are awesome!
|
I had one of these as a company car very briefly.....they even tried to let me drive it.....got stuck during the training....

As a company car it would really suck for gas mileage.
|
Yeah, but you were paying for the gas.....and yes, at full speed, economy is better measured in gpm rather than mpg...
|
And a tank of fuel is probably 10 grand.
|
Got company fuel card. No biggie.

Got me a steel storagecase today, lockable.
Not the thickest gauge steel, but it's big, and just fits under the stairscase. Stuffed my part of strategic ammo supply (in there, bout 600 rds, and half of my strategic , long storage food supply, got plenty of other strategic stuff in there, like matches, lighter fluid, crapping paper (not in the case, as that takes to much volume), basic medical supplies And off course a couple of bottles of Scotch & an assortment of liquor. Is it enough, nope, not at all, but it's a minimum to cover something like a month of hardship, in reasonable style. And no way anybody will steal that thing.. it's 4 foot long, 2 foot wide, fully loaded it weighs a ton. And because it's under the staircase, bit lower then ground floor, they can't drag it out either.. Nor would they be able to break it open.. There's not enough room to work there. |
Zombies expected to start over there?
|
That, or "ze Germanz". They have been here before, twice.
all it takes is one of them getting uppity and thinking "Third time's the charm". |
Can't wait to get that M1a.
