Geronimo '74 02-20-2012 10:51 PM

Morning guys. Well it seems that the other side of the hood is still dark.

svandamme 02-21-2012 01:18 AM

turn on every light you can find, just to show you can.

Rick V 02-21-2012 01:21 AM

The old bag across the street does that just fine. The wombat is afraid of the dark so when the sun goes down it looks like an LZ over there

svandamme 02-21-2012 01:30 AM

What's the range?
Might be fun for plinking?

Rick V 02-21-2012 01:34 AM

Less than 100 yards to the first light. Actually she has one of those little over bread rat-dogs that does nothing more than shake and siht, that would be the first plinking target. The overstuffed sewer rat barks at me if I am outside in my own yard. I have looked at it through more than one scope.
One of these days that thing is gonna sneak out and I am going to be here to see it and I am going to release my hounds (well cats).

Rick V 02-21-2012 02:02 AM

Okay Stijn, did we get our rifle today?

svandamme 02-21-2012 02:04 AM

After work...
and i won't get it today, i'll just go look at it, and buy it , eg put down a deposit while my permit is in the works.
Can't wait till it's time to go check it out.

After that, i'll be looking to find me a Leupold Mk4 with H recticle..

svandamme 02-21-2012 02:07 AM

chit, looks like the Horus recticle is mighty expensive..

Rick V 02-21-2012 02:13 AM

Are you going with the carbine or the garand? Dad has the garand and I can tell you that thing weighs a few tons

svandamme 02-21-2012 02:29 AM

I'm not going for either (M1 Garand or M1 Carbine), i'm going for the Springfield Armory M1a (Commercial semi auto M14) in 7.62x51 NATO

Rick V 02-21-2012 02:32 AM

But,but,but....................I thought you said you werent allowed to have nato rounds. :)

svandamme 02-21-2012 02:48 AM

but but but, i never said that.
It's the french that can't have Nato rounds, us Belgians can get whatever caliber we want , as long as it ain't shot in a full auto rifle and we can find rifle and ammo to shoot it, and a range that will allow us to fire it.
So .50BMG is proooolly out..

azzarule 02-21-2012 02:51 AM
