I suspect she knows how to bring you another one.

GH85Carrera 02-24-2012 07:15 AM

Maybe she is just taste testing it for you to make sure it is not poisoned.

Porsche-poor 02-24-2012 07:16 AM

probably true.

Porsche-poor 02-24-2012 07:57 AM

the best beer is at the bottom so if she just takes a little off the top.

WTF, did you go to Saudi Arabia or something? That's $4 dollars cheaper than the 87 here, and the best we can get is 91 E10 for $0.30 more than the 87 E10.

Actually, as I understand, the German nickname was grosser, which means... big (when followed by a noun like Auto). Germans aren't ones for creative car names. Numbers and simple adjectives are all you are going to get.

HHI944 02-24-2012 09:20 AM

Yeah, no rear facing seats in that 600....

A local gas station has a rewards card where you earn x cents off your next fill up (20gal max) I've been accumulating points like mad, but not using them because the rental and the Landy only have 11gal tanks....the jag has almost 23

HHI944 02-24-2012 09:22 AM

93 is readily available here, I suspect because of the higher than average number of fears, lambos etc

RKDinOKC 02-24-2012 09:26 AM

Well we got a higher than average number of Ferraris and Lambos here, too. But the best I can get is 100 octane unleaded at the 76 station off the 101 at Chesboro in Agoura Hills, and that is like $8 a gallon last time I checked. Otherwise it is E10, 91 octane max. Unless you go to the track and buy race gas.

I miis the days of numbered Porsches. I don't care for stupid car names. Especially some of the new Porsche names.

HHI944 02-24-2012 09:55 AM

Like macan?

Lieger, our supercar owners are fortune 500 executives, not whiny movie stars, if they want a different grade of gas, they make it happen.

GH85Carrera 02-24-2012 09:59 AM

I can get 100% gas here in OK. But for some reason the highest grade of premium we see is 91. There are a few speciality stations that have the 93 but those are scarce.

RKDinOKC 02-24-2012 10:15 AM

There are two stations here in OKC that carry 101.

GH85Carrera 02-24-2012 10:16 AM

There is a place that sells race gas by the drum just a mile west of my office.

HHI944 02-24-2012 10:29 AM

Vroooom! Purrrrrrr!

I don't really care what a car is called, as long as it is good.

You air cooled 911 guys are so snobby...

Says the 944 driver ;)

I have heard several people confuse the Cayenne & Cayman. A huge SUV with a two seat sports car.

porsche4life 02-24-2012 12:06 PM

I'm not the one talking down about other cars.... ;)

RKDinOKC 02-24-2012 12:11 PM

Sean has started pulling the motor on my 928.
