It is good to dream!

My house back in my single days was across the street from a rental house. No one lived there more than 6 months. It was one long string of looses. Except for one! An attractive female moved in and was friendly and happy. Within a week I noticed a steady string of cars coming and going all the time. A few months later the police arrested her for prostitution and drug distribution.

The house was soon rented to more looses.

Good morning folks.

My first apartment was a real gem. A 90$ per month furnished garage apartment. I did not have access to the garage. I was making a whopping $114 per week take home. Every neighbor was as broke as I was but they all had money for LOUD stereos and lots of booze. The dumpster was always full of empty booze bottles and beer cans. It took me a year to save up the money to move into a decent place.

The only decent neighbor I had at that first place was an old lady that cooked fantastic smelling meals all the time. All I could afford was rice with soy sauce. On Friday night I would splurge and dump a can of soup on the rice. The "good ol days" sucked.

Stijn, hopefully you will get the Belgium Bikini team audition house as a neighbor.

Bikini team , i rather doubt it, it's a small row house like mine, but since it's a rental, not really updated like mine... won't call it a dump, but it's not something you would put a bikini team in..

My first appartment was some kind of social thing for minors with monitored living alone.
i was 16 at the time, and suddenly had a bunch of real troublemakers as neighbours.. brawlers, dopers and thieves.

I was there to get away from my witch of a mum, but instead of ending up in a decent program, i sat there with a bunch of rejects that had been released from juvi but weren't allowed to go home.. The program was totally abused for the wrong kind of use.

Instead of setting up good kids so they can get away from problems, they added problems so the good kids were harassed or converted.

It's a miracle that i ended up the way i did.

On a different note, Bimforce 1B is due any day now.. Gonna mis BF-1 when i trade it for B1B... not much, but still, it was a very good car to me.

The house across the street from me was demon possessed.

It started with the owner moving out and the daughter moving in. Within 4 years her husband left her, she got a boyfriend that kept her drugged up, the house filled with trash, and it became a crack house with people stopping, honking, and obviously exchanging something. The Mom finally wised up took her daughter away and sold the house.

The new owners moved in and I saw the garage door open. The garage was piled to the ceiling with trash! The new owners cleaned up the trash and then proceeded to follow the same cycle of divorce, boyfriend, crack house and trash. After 4 years they all got busted and moved away.

For that summer a couple flipped the house. They worked in the city and stayed in the house during the week cleaning and fixing it up, then on weekends stayed in their house in the country.

One Sunday when they arrived back the police came. The flippers left a couple of dobermans in the house and the dogs had cornered a thief in one of the bedrooms with his pillowcase full of loot. The dogs let him have the run of the house until he tried to leave then cornered him and wouldn't let him go. The poor thief had been cornered by the dogs the entire weekend. When the hauled him off it looked like he had pooped and peed himself.

They sold the house to another nice couple and then the cycle repeated again. Divorce, Boyfriend, trash pile crack house. This is when I moved away.

Oh my FREAKING cursewords.

The person in at the TX Department of Screw the Tourists entered the amount I paid incorrectly so there is a balance of $1.00. They suspended my license for one freakin dollar.!!!! AND I've got to pay $75.00 to get my license reinstated after I show the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety a receipt for the freakin $1.00. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I want to damage something that will cost this clerk in Texas at least $75.00.

Same thing happend to my boss you should be able to take the bank records in to OK dept and show that its been paid and should have neve been issued they should then void the fine out. At least thats what happened to him. He had the records to prove he paid it but still had to go to court and show that it was paid and not his error. I know its a pain but it will beat a trip to the county courthouse in the back of a car....

So for the Music of the 60's class he had a big long list of albums and songs to "have regular access to". It would have been about $250 on iTunes for them all so I picked out a few albums and songs that I liked anyway, plus a good helping of Zep. I'm diggin' Dylan's "The Times They Are A-Changin'" and Jefferson Airplane's "Volunteers" (the albums not just the songs). I also got some Hendrix.

Your choices are pretty good. I like English R&B, think Yardbirds. Former members: Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page. Procol Harem and Jethro Tull are also good rock groups from that era.

I've got a couple of Clapton songs and some Jethro Tull. I had to take a lot of songs off my iPod to fit Thick as a Brick 1 and 2 on there. I also like Cold Wind to Valhalla.

The Who was what got me into classic rock. The Real Me is one of my faves.

Traffic I don't have so much of. Just Freedom Rider.
