I'm still dazed from that heavy post. Lots of thoughts and feelings went through my head there. Vas would probably be good at interpreting them and putting them in words.

Max, I never went home. I went to my parents instead to study. I'll be home soon and will take a look.

A lot of trails existed when I was there, but I don't remember any trail signs. I know trails were starting to become more developed when I left.

OK, I need to do some laundry and stuff. Should give me some time to let all those thoughts sink in and be understood.

It just feels right. Who knows, maybe she has cute friends that are also interested in the same sort of stuff.

again. repeat after me: smile and say hi.

really, it is that simple.

It looks shorter than Bishop's though. I think Prefumo Canyon goes higher. Still need to get knobbies so I can try the Quarry trailhead or the state park. I could do Turri Road now, though.

I've no problem talking with Caroline. Just the other girl.

I've also talked to pretty girls before but only when I can hide behind the mask of not talking about serious issues. Like when trying to help those girls with their dead car battery.

I fear screwing up a potential relationship that I would really like to see happen.

Talking to Caroline is pretty much like talking to any of my other friends except she is a girl and she seems calmer. She is one of the people I would like to have in my senior project group.

I was pretty sure that was the one but I want to know how to get to the trail. There are ranches and farms there along Los Osos Valley Road and Foothill so I can't just get off the road and ride there.

Flieger 04-10-2012 08:55 PM

It appears I have made it seem like I can't talk to girls, which is not accurate.

I am fine with talking to most girls. It is when I am trying to tell them that I like them that things get tough.

Thanks Dave! That is great! :)

slodave 04-10-2012 09:00 PM

Again, I am well past the smile and say hi stage with Caroline. I am not yet to the "I love you" part. I don't even think I feel that way yet. I am actually more interested in whether she wants to go hiking or cycling or something. If she has cute friends that want to come along, all the better.

nynor 04-10-2012 09:05 PM

ok. i officially give up.

Flieger 04-10-2012 09:07 PM

Hey, I will keep it in mind for the other one. I'll try to say hi tomorrow. And smile.

I like to have something to talk about more than just saying hi but I suppose that is a little test- if she acknowledges my "hi" then she is not saying "go away you fool".
