GH85Carrera 04-12-2012 10:16 AM

We all miss you Doc!

Flieger 04-12-2012 10:17 AM

See you all later. Azza sure has a lot of catching up to do.

hmm.... i do spend an inordinate amount of time here.

i don't go clubbing anymore. snowboarding season is over (not that it ever really got going this last go-round). the motorcycle just runs. the car needs a minor repair, but i am waiting on parts. what else do i have to fill my time that won't get me into too much trouble?

there is that novel i've been trying to write....

He has a lot of short but usually funny posts.

I know I've got plenty of stuff I should be doing.

name it. we are in crisis mode over a project that has not started cause the software we are using looks to not be compatable anymore. That means the boss wants to switch gears and work the project at the same time as training. A wreck waiting to happen. Rather than just walk away from it. so much for weekends if this happens.

You guys are like my pocket buddies. Whenever I need an ear to listen to my nonsense babbling, I take you out and post. Nobody even has to be really listening but it is nice to get it out... And get a couple of sympathetic posts... Or a hit yourself in the nuts advice. :D

nynor 04-12-2012 10:27 AM

yep. the advice on this thread is spot on.

Yeah. :)

Dang. I can't find the thermodynamics tables I used for Thermo 1 last year. Stupid loose-leaf textbook. Now I need them for Thermo 2. I thought I knew where they were...

tweezers74 04-12-2012 10:31 AM

Even though I don't have nuts...

Yea you do, an entire thread of nutty friends on the thread!

Flieger 04-12-2012 10:38 AM

Found the steam tables and such. They were with the British Literature books I never read and my other homework assignments from last quarter.

GH85Carrera 04-12-2012 10:39 AM

I presume a steam table is not something to use to remove wrinkles from clothes. ;)

Flieger 04-12-2012 10:41 AM

No, it is much more boring than that. If someone on the street asks you what the specific entropy of H2O at 1 atm and 700 degrees Rankine is you had better have your steam tables close at hand!

glen, i am glad you did not allow yourself to be dissuaded from posting on the random picture thread. i love your pictures.

tweezers74 04-12-2012 10:41 AM

Glen, you make me laugh!!! :)

Flieger 04-12-2012 10:41 AM

I like the cat diary one. :)

I have thick hide. I did not consider for a second stopping posting photos. I have been in the photo business since I was 14 or 15. I love the strange and unusual photos.
