That would be a guy wearing shorts and chaps right after he says "hold my beer...."

Or a guy building a fence the easy way.

Looks like a power taper for maple trees.......don't think he'll get much sap from that post though.

It's a boring post.

The car looks great. Your photos are very professional.

I am trying Chrome now. Not really liking how I cannot override page default fonts like I could in IE8. It does seem a smidge faster but not much of an issue with Cal Poly's high bandwidth connection. I might be driven crazy by the Pelican font and switch back. Actually that is very likely. I liked the quicker access to my list of favorite sites as well.

At least the stupid ask.com search is gone.

porsche4life 11-15-2011 05:41 PM

I'm not 100% happy with the photos. I need a better lens and a UV filter. I had to play with those quite a bit.

I actually picked up a filter today, but had a brainfart and got a 58mm, I need a 55mm... :banghead:

Icemaster 11-15-2011 05:43 PM

Try downloading an app called CC Cleaner, you can use that to remove unwanted crap like Ask toolbars. No real need to move to a new browser if that's all you're looking to do.

Flieger 11-15-2011 05:47 PM

Well, everyone was raving about the superiority of Firefox and Chrome.

The download thing works weird too. It keeps track of them all in a little bar at the bottom.

I don't like change. :(

Icemaster 11-15-2011 05:51 PM

Change is opportunity wrapped in a challenge.

Flieger 11-15-2011 05:52 PM

Back to IE8. My eyes feel better now and navigation is easier. I will trade that for a little less speed.

:)

Icemaster 11-15-2011 05:57 PM

Try running CCCleaner, removing anything you're not using, using the registry tool to clean that up...might not be an IE8 issue. Might just need to do a D&C on your hard drive and apps.

Why do you say you need better lenses? What is wrong with the current ones? Specifics... Also, you can either exchange the filter for the correct one or buy a step up( or down) ring... The rings allow you to use one filterer on multiple lenses of diff sizes. Also, no digital picture comes out of the camera in perfect condition. There is not one professional photographer that doesnt do some sort of post perrocessing.

I don't really see why you need to buy a new camera or lenses, unless the lenses you are using now are distorting images, vingetting or pix are really out of focus.

I am not really bugged by any small slow down with IE8. I will do a de-frag on my break.
