Epoxy job went well, the metal stud and base plate are anchored solid in the wooden stock now.. and the oprod moves around freely, no binding..

My brakes are great for what they are. My isssue is a lack of tyre to stand up to the task. The other big thing is the fact I dont have a LSD. Will sort it out over winter. These two changes will help the stability under brakes alot. Happy with everything else.

Suspension has a lot to do with braking. Not much you can do with out getting spendy.

205 and 225s on a full weight 420hp 930 was never going to do the job. I have a few options on 10 or 11inch fuchs in 17s. That will make a huge change, 225s and 265/275s. That and a lsd.

it may be fine, but it's old school compared to the GT3's and modern cars.. That's what gives em the edge in braking..
You could get te same kind of rubber surface as they have, you still wouldn't be able to use it like they do under braking...

Yep. 35 years of technology is more than just tires and wheels. Way more.

Welp, lotsa storms in the state again. None around here fortunately. Some of the storms are moving at 80 mph across the ground.

Welp that was fun, nice day to rip up some roads. It was even capped of with Beth wanting to rip someones head off and stuff their dog in a rather unsavory place, then taze them. They cut us off on the interstate, and got mad when I made my displeasure known.

We're just back, too. There are a fair number of twisty roads in NoVA. Even with the stock suspension, the 964 does well carving corners. When we returned to "civilization," Lu and I stopped at a Red Robin to satisfy her burger craving. It's been months since she's had one...poor girl.

Alt. done but didn't get a ride in (well....16 miles to the corner store and back). So tomorrow
it's time for a tour. Had to fix the front bumper on the highlander that some a$$ hat backed into while my daughter was at a school dance. ![]() Good luck with the storms out there.

But the only new one that would interest me is a GT2. I find it hard to justify spending over 400k on a car. You can buy a Nissan GTR for 150k thats faster than all but a GT2. GTRs are not my thing. I enjoy getting the most out of the old turbo. If you want to beat all the new cars, buy one.

Yep same here. I like my old school 911. I could buy a new turbo and be real fast. I don't want to spend the money.
