I can't imagine what it is like not to be able to swim. I was tossed in a pool while in diapers.

I don't really know what it is like either to tell you the truth. I've not been in the water for at least 4 years. I've forgotten what it was like.

I don't know. Maybe I would float now? I am fatter than I used to be.

It's pretty bad. I go into the do-not-breathe reaction even on my bike if I am riding in the pouring rain. There I have rain hitting me plus the spray from my front wheel going right into my face. I am too cheap to spring for a fender.

So you have to be constantly kicking to stay above water?

I never feel like I can generate propulsion worth a ****

Yes....

Or when diving I just inflate my BC.......

If I wear a FULL wetsuit, with gloves, hood, socks, boots, etc, I use a little weight to help me go down...

Yeah, and neat was actually fairly carefully chosen......I'm not so sure it'd look sporty or sleek, but it would draw the eye....

I had the movie from 6-7:30.

Argh. So if I just go down there on my bike I still have to find people to talk to and talk to them. How many poly girls go there when the campus market is so much closer? Is this thing really that much of a social event? Is there a band or something?

I have no idea how many "Poly girls" go there, I never asked. I do know that is was packed and we always ran into people we knew. They often had other friends with them. You know, networking.

Hmm. This sounds interesting. If I can get a job up here for summer quarter I could make some of them.
