Porsche-poor 04-24-2012 03:12 PM

What is that and how do you check for it?

slodave 04-24-2012 03:17 PM

It's a virus that infects the master boot record and redirects any google search.

Symantec has a free program - FixTDSS

Stop typing and git.

I think, no I KNOW everyone is sick of the subject. Even Tweeze and Seahawk. I am done with it. Until there is some news about foreword progress I propose we all just drop the subject.

On to any other subject. PLEASE

Hehe. I didn't mean for the challenge to open up such a can of worms. :)

Morning all

ANZAC day in Oz today. Ahh...sleep in...missed the dawn service...don't know if I'll make it for the morning service....may just go the the rissole (RSL) for 'two up' later.

I went and turned in my paperwork for my OK CCW today.... They nearly make you feel like a convict. You have to turn in at the Sheriff in your county of residence. I go in and they send me around to a side door with visitors badge. I walk through a damn maze, and end up in the booking room. They take my prints, and then I'm free to leave. Now I should have a permit in about 90days unless they find a reason to not issue me one....

Also went and got the under 21 box removed from my drivers license, tomorrow I am turning in my stuff for a passport, after that I should be good to go. :D

My head hurts from work today. I have a customer that wants the strangest information on a aerial map. I have to open his file is Google Earth, extract the KMZ files, import that into one program, export those files into two different programs to combine them into a final yet different map making program we use to make EPS files that I can then import into PhotoShop to make PDF files. The bad news is he has about 20 different locations I have to do that to. The good news is he did not even flinch when I quoted a price per location.

I just just think of it as job security. :D

Oh, there is some text editing I have to do in Notepad so that is one other step.

If I remember correctly, Pat had a BMW 3.0 and, in his usual manner, knew a great deal about them.

I have a line on one and want to pick his fertile noggin'. I spent a day with Pat and it was a hoot...it has been a bout four years or so.

Thanks again.

And Max: Life isn't a Kabuki Dance...

PM sent, Paul

Rick, do you have Fastpats contact info? I lost his address when my old laptop HD went sneakers up.

I have a few questions I'd like to ask him.

Also, thanks for the contact info on the 356 folks in DC...worked out great.

Hey Paul I sent Pat an email to get in touch with ya. Heads up, here comes the FastPat. :)
Glad to hear the 356 is all worked out, I figured Matt would be able to handle it. That is a great group of people. (damn I like being connected)

Well it is game on. Beth went through the entire payment history for out mortgage and has found several errors on their side. Looks like the Attorney General and us are going to become close friends, as well as the FBI fraud dept. 50cal hell we are going to start a fight with rounds measured in LB's

Well, spent the last half hour screwing around with the galaxy tan and finally have it pretty close to how I want it set up. Pretty nice overall, especially for the price.

hey glen, just for the record...ATC hates photogrammetric missions. ha! i had two guys mapping at 32,000 feet on both of sides of my arrival corridors into every airport in the LA Valleys and Basin yesterday. each mission was 6+30 minutes. kind of felt bad for the guy. on sunday, he wanted to map and he kept wavering from his lines, so we cancelled his mission. i guess his company complained so he came back up on monday to do it. i had to do a lot of coordinating with albuquerque center, making sure that they were slinging guys into him. talk about a headache day. :)
