Something in my fridge stinks and I can't find it. Taken everything out and cleaned it thoroughly. Still stinks?!? Arrrrgh

HHI944 02-16-2012 03:16 PM

Wow....went to get my stuff out if the car.....it wasn't at the shop.....it was in the street, a block away...... with the window down .........the windows don't go up now

HHI944 02-16-2012 03:19 PM

This is in a part of savannah where even a locked Mercedes gas a good chance of disappearing. Guess that answers the question about how someone tried to break in.

HHI944 02-16-2012 03:32 PM

Anyone have any idea what radar detector this is?

use some dilute bleach bleach. bleach will kill any smell. and it cleans like a mofo.

nynor 02-16-2012 03:37 PM

um.... what was the shop thinking, leaving your vehicle a block away, etc. madness.

Porsche-poor 02-16-2012 03:39 PM

open box of baking soda.

nynor 02-16-2012 03:45 PM

cleanse first with dilute bleach, 1:20 in a spray bottle, the whole fridge. then, a tray of baking soda to absorb any leftover smells. use a tray to increase the surface area of the baking soda.

God knows....it's. Geicos problem now....
So what's the consensus on V1 detectors? Anything better in that price range?

porsche4life 02-16-2012 04:00 PM

I love my V1... Saved my ass today.

nynor 02-16-2012 04:08 PM

huh... maybe i should get a radar detector. the only problem is that i do my worst speeding on the motorcycle.

porsche4life 02-16-2012 04:11 PM

Hardwire and remote display the V1...

I know RickLee carries a V1 on his bike...

And the headphone adapter with a pair of phones in your helmet....

porsche4life 02-16-2012 04:26 PM

Hmm... I'm thinking the Corolla needs a SAVVY adapter....

Have a tray, a penguin, and a cup of baking soda already in there.

RKDinOKC 02-16-2012 06:58 PM

Maid did the bleach clean thing 3 weeks ago and it still looks spotless. That's why Im stumped.

RKDinOKC 02-16-2012 06:59 PM

Need to send my V1 back to be updated. Maybe I should do that while the car is down. Oh wait, it's in the freaking car in Dallas.

nynor 02-16-2012 07:05 PM

a penguin?

did something die in the back of the thing, or underneath?

edit: the MAID did the bleach clean thing?! dude, you are gonna have to do this thing on your own.

RKDinOKC 02-16-2012 07:07 PM

It's a plastic penguin with holes in it designed to fill with baking soda and set in the fridge.
