This debate is the area where Vas has so much wisdom.

All of that from a guy that leaves paper towels in an intake!

Really, I mean is there "absolute time"? One clock says this, another says that, but who is right?

Does time really exist or is it just an illusion?

Does the universe divide time into discrete steps, like fundamental particles, that cannot be divided further? Is that why the derivative and integral in calculus work?

And how are space and time linked? Why is the speed of light so special, and what set that speed limit?

And most importantly, how can we ever know if a posited answer is correct if we are always observing through some sort of "lens" be it figurative or literal?
The observer and the observed are the same thing.
Thats mans wrong turn, yet he cant see it.
That lens is the self, all past memory.
As long as man remains cought in that non fact, he can never see beyond that lens.
He (I) is that limiting factor.
I am the lens, and the lens is me.
We are not a seperate entity from memory (the lens).

Time is a product of this division between me and my memory.
As a non fact by its own make up.
Time is also false in its relationship with space.
As D said, man made.
Clock time is our own handy measurement.

So, in short the lens is literal in that it has an effect/consequence.
a bad one.

Okay, I am an IDIOT?!? And I am going to have a huge scar to remind myself.

The only problem I've been having with tuning my car is that I did not plug the lead from the Shark Tuner that interfaces between the ECU and my laptop into the wideband O2 sensor. There was no reason to monkey with the fuel pressure, replace the wideband sensor, or get a new Programable ECU Module.

The problem we thought we were having with the PEMs being killed were just my mechanics old crappy laptop. It would lose connection to the ECU and lock up the ECU. Then it would not only not run the car, but would not shut off, and yes it would run the battery dead. To reset it we had to disconnect and reconnect the battery. Arrgh, I've been fighting these programable ECU chips for 8 months because of this issue!?!

Also.
Its an assumption that space has a starting point.
Time as a measure has no place in the infinite.

So you are not saying that just to make Nynor feel better. . At least you found the problem. Only one huge burn and a few days of wasted time.

In my closest approximation, Time is a positive vector.
