Going to try to sleep now guys.... Probably spend 2hrs hashing this car thing out though... :( Can't stop the gears.....

Schumi you think any of the STLVW guys would be buyers on that Corrado? I'd meet 'em in Springfield if they had cash...

Nighty night...

don't forget the Gipsy asphalt

porsche4life 01-12-2010 10:56 PM

Gipsy asphalt isn't smooth enough to be a driveway... there is one around the corner from my folks.... it sucks....

I don't want asphalt... I want a different DD....

Good luck with the car buying Sid, I would go for the 951.

PET6 has been installed but instead of the occasional button that is displayed wrong, I'm missing half of the PET screen (lower half) due to the resolution of my laptop...
This sucks... Looks like I need to buy an extra flat screen just to get this working properly....

Just hold the CD up to the light....

nynor 01-12-2010 11:25 PM

go for a good quality NA. my two cents. in fact, i'd go for a well optioned 924s with the short 5th gear. seriously. if you find one and want to trade me for my 951, let me know, we can certainly discuss it.

Morning

slodave 01-13-2010 01:18 AM

Morning Rick. :)

Rick V 01-13-2010 01:21 AM

Morning Dave.

Okay Sid, a 951 can be very very expensive to maintain, and not the easiest things on the planet to DIY.

slodave 01-13-2010 01:27 AM

He really needs a 911....

Rick V 01-13-2010 01:34 AM

I agree. But I think he has it in his head he can't afford one. He get his hands on the right (wrong) 951 he will know better.

slodave 01-13-2010 01:47 AM

I'm not sure he's truly ready to handle a 911 though.... :p

I dunno, he is active in the PCA, so he can learn the "ways" of the rear engine. (Don't read this Sid) he seems to have his head on right. Not having to worry about girls might be a big help for him. :)

Rick V 01-13-2010 01:56 AM

Okay off to work. I need a new career

Schumi 01-13-2010 04:06 AM

Sid I'll have my main VW guy put the word out on the corrado. Whats the basic info on it?
