I send dinner pics to Dave and David just to be an ass

Many years ago the company I worked for made the restaurant display signs for a local company with hundreds of locations. These are the pictures one sees when standing in line looking at the menu. Back in those stone ages before computers the first print was a pure guess for exposure and color. Then I would look at the prints and adjust density and exposure until perfect. This was 100% analog.

Anyway the point of the story was I was working on a picture of a bowl of chili. The first print way WAY WAY off and very light and yellow green. The chili was the color of baby poo diarrhea. One of the employees came back to production and saw that picture and RAN to the bathroom to puke. She was very hung over and queasy and saw this photo of a steaming bowl of very ugly stuff.

With some simple color correction and density it was easy to make a perfect print. To this day she will not go near a bowl of chili. :D

Some of my work is still used at that store chain. Photography done right is hard to beat and the current backlight display materials are just now catching up to that quality. Now all the stores are just going to a flat panel display and that makes it easy to do animation. Something our old duratrans could never do.

It turned out that the story plot was not due today. Which is nice since I haven't thought of anything that sounds good to me.

I am not sure how to draw Crips. Actually I've never drawn a person in a detailed way. So I am trying to come up with a story that is a lot of landscapes and artsy sort of things and not much talk and people. He said we can do photos, though. So maybe I can head down to Dave's hood and get some pics. :D

Any of you guys (or gal) have an old, non-touch-screen iPod that is 4 GB or bigger that you are looking to get rid of (sell for cheap)?

Mine is a generation 2 Nano, 1.8 GB at the moment. I need more space!

What are the side effects of too much of the fat-soluable vitamins? Seems like that would be an issue with 3*2=6 times the suggested daily dose. Not that it could be any worse than chemo or cancer.

i think the only vitamin that might be an issue would be vitamin A. that said, i will die before i do chemotherapy again.

I've got a philosophy midterm tomorrow. I hope I can do alright.
