I am wondering how long those chairs have been up there. I wonder if Dave sat up there and "freed his soul". ;)

Pretty pics... Makes me want to go hiking with the boys. It's only 93 degrees today.

Bring lots of water if you do. It was a little warm on the way up since I was in the lee of the hill but up top the weather was beautiful. The breeze was just right.

Didn't even crack 70 here today. Very strange.

DC. I came back East two weeks ago. It'll probably be late Sept before heading back to SoCal. :(

79 and sunny here....just got out of the pool.

Yanno I don't mind tweaking a new install but I HATE cleaning up an computer that was used by a chowderhead

Time to go eat more free pizza! The PCA club is having a member appreciation dinner. It used to be called the new member dinner but more long term members showed up than newbies. Since I am the treasurer I get to buy. It is a good pizza joint.

tweezers74 07-21-2012 04:14 PM

Woo hoo! Booked for Madonna in Vegas in October!!! :)

Rick V 07-21-2012 04:19 PM

Oh I am so bad

Just fookin' great
My wife thought it would be a good idea to give the cats catnip. The pecking order is set around here and she likes to upset it.
Just picture a 23lb cat, who is uncoordinated in the first place, wacked out of his skull, and three other kitties looking for some fun
yikes!

Holy Haboob! Hanging out with the boys in the pool one minute and the next...

The Haboob just rolled through. In about a two minute span, a wall of dust formed and it got dark. Got the boys inside and now the windows are rattling and starting to rain. By the way, the third picture is not altered. The sky gets this weird and eerie color. The light gets distorted from all the dust in the air...

Must make cleaning the pool fun.

Flieger 07-21-2012 05:36 PM

Well the saga of the FSAE car's electrics goes on. I tried the approach the CPE recommended of opening up the box and fiddling with the wires going into the board with the LED to make sure they were not touching. I even tried to clean up the solder joints (but the un-soldering tool they had was not that great at melting the solder and there were no normal ones). But no luck in fixing it.

To open the box I had to take the seat out, belts off, tie-down straps off, and relocate a ground wire so that was why I did not try it sooner.

Looks like how it gets when there is a wildfire here. You say it rains during the dust storm? I would think the rain would wash the dust out of the air.

tweezers74 07-21-2012 05:46 PM

Max, the dust wall builds up and then it hits. Wind like you couldn't believe. Like a tornado. Then the rain comes after the wind. After the rain, the sky is clear, no dust and drastically cooler.
