I always tease my dad about that when he uses that saying. :D

If I get some time later tonight Rick I'll share on FB some vids the wife took of Connor last Sunday. The band is coming along but has a long way to go before 8/12. But then again one of the bands had to work extra hard to %$# up louie louie.......

OK, so after Dave's prodding last night on facebook and now that I have some time I am going to attempt to watch The Wall all the way through. That Crazy Diamond documentary was good, but I couldn't locate part 2 on youtube.

wait-listed.... show up to class on the first day. talk to the professor before or after class. get the professor let you in. explain to the professor that you do not drop classes. ever. the professor will let you in.

i did the above about a dozen times with classes that were always full. it worked every time. i never dropped classes. one professor let me take his graduate level philosophy courses after the first quarter (yeah, as a freshman) because i did the work and didn't drop his class after he took the chance and let me in. i got an A in his courses.

um.... wow. my dubbel is really really good, after a couple of weeks. the 'green beer' flavors are dissipating fast and the beer is definitely drinkable. delicious.

Loud, in the dark with no interruptions

nynor 07-25-2012 03:53 PM

nynor 07-25-2012 04:54 PM

I did. I have a long cat-5 cable and charger cable so I was able to sit up in my bed with my back against the wall. I closed the blinds for more of the movie theater feel.

It was... I don't know. I entered feeling very confused and left feeling slightly less confused. Some cool cartoons, though.:D

I still don't care for the music in it.

I also had to read one of those comic books since there is a paper due on it on Monday and I don't wan't to ruin my weekend writing it. I have to make the final version of my mini comic book too by Wednesday. I managed to slap something together as a rough draft in the hour before class last week but I am not sure if I will use that stuff or not. It ended up not really being a story. Just various ramblings and drawings.

I never realized how depressing it can be to read a story where you end up realizing that it is the story of an aspect of your own life. One because you realize what an idiot you have been and two because you realize you are not unique in being pitiful. Yet realizing that doesn't help matters. I need to get out of this room before I go crazy.

nynor 07-25-2012 07:06 PM

pitiful.... there is no upside in being so. pitiful is ubiquitous.

Flieger 07-25-2012 07:10 PM

Anyway -- enough of that. Its just a #$^%ing stupid English class. :)

Back to the regular programming...

nynor 07-25-2012 07:17 PM

truth is where you find it.

Flieger 07-25-2012 07:18 PM

I'm just glad I can't stay awake long enough to read real books. :D
I can get through non-fiction books that I am interested in but it takes a while. :)

I'm not sure what I am going to write in that paper, though. There were 4 short stories in the book. There was no overall theme so I am going to have to BS a lot about some event in one of the stories. I can probably do that. :)

Flieger 07-25-2012 07:24 PM

Or I could go get this book: Ghost World - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
We were supposed to read that too but somehow I did not get that one at the book store the first week of class. Maybe they did not have it in at the time?

That one sounds easier to write about...
