Don't think I've seen you post here in a little while.

Noah930 08-21-2012 07:33 PM

Been out of town for the past week-and-a-half. No real internet access.

Flieger 08-21-2012 07:39 PM

Did you do anything interesting on the trip?

nynor 08-21-2012 07:42 PM

the OR.... emergency beauty surgery? oh, wait, you are a plastic surgeon.... i've needed a plastic surgeon on more than one occasion. bless you. a plastic surgeon saved my life (really, i bled over two pints onto the pavement) when i was in a motorcycle accident. he did the surgery to put my arm back together, and the quad of my right leg. and some stitches over my eye. and my scalp.

Flieger 08-21-2012 07:47 PM

But now you are being careful.

nynor 08-21-2012 07:51 PM

yep. true story. that wasn't the accident that did it for me, either.

Went to Cape Cod. The wife and kids had already been there for a couple weeks before I spent a week there, too. We rented a pine cabin type house within walking distance to a beach.

Early morning walks to the beach:

Hunted for stuff in the tidal flats:

(Not all 4 are mine--we met up with friends.)

Practiced our handstands (over and over and over again):

Spent just about every day in the water:

Went for nature hikes:

Did a little motoring (there wasn't much wind that day):

And of course hit the mom 'n pop ice cream shops:
