Wasn't me. My partner just picked it up. Purchase somewhat inspired by my 911. And that the lease on his CL550 was up.

So yeah, write whatever the F you want on it. :)

But he was the one who had that written on his Maserati.

This guy has had 4 cars in the last 5 years. I joined him just as the lease on his SL500 was up. He replaced it with the Maser. Which he got into a fender bender that (cost-wise) totaled it. So he went back to the Mercedes fold and got a CL550. And now that that lease is up, he's now got a Panawhatever; the new GTS model. Has turbo running gear (brakes, wheels, suspension, etc) but without the turbo motor. He tells me it's only down 30 HP to the turbo, but is $50K cheaper.

He's been waiting for this car for the past 3 weeks. It's been like watching a kid come Christmastime. I'm very happy for him.

He offered today, but our schedules conflicted. He was operating this morning. During that time one of our scrub techs took it out for a spin (to try to get the windows tinted); he loved it. I was operating in the afternoon after him, but was at a different clinic in the morning.

We teased him that in between cases he should go dictate and do paperwork in his car, instead of in his office.

I thought your 930 was at TRE the other day. The angle blocked a good view of the rims (turned out to be RD), but rim color and car color was right. I did a double take as I was looking out of Jeremy's office.

Doing short joyrides in between cases in each others' cars seems to be de rigeur in our surgicenter. At least if you've got something sexy. Another doc picked up a Maserati convertible last month. He had ordered it around last October, so the office anticipation was high. I remember driving into the parking garage one day (in my Civic) and seeing one of the ortho product reps also pulling back into the parking garage in the Maser (and doc riding shotgun) with the top down.

Can I swing by and pick up the keys on Tuesday?
