Anyone know a good solution for an almost deaf person that won't get hearing aides but turns the TV up loud enough to blow speakers and keep the guy trying to pass out from pain killers awake even in the bedroom at the other end of the house from the tv?

RKDinOKC 09-02-2012 07:15 PM

Oh, and likes to stay up all night watching the freakin Military channel

RKDinOKC 09-02-2012 07:15 PM

Off to read the manuals on my receiver to see if I can limit the max volume...

Well, the TV now has a maximum volume set at a normal listening level. Brother hasn't noticed. Nor did he notice last night when I kept turning the TV volume down from my iPhone in the bedroom. The only time he turned it back up was when he changed programs. It would wake me up, and I would slowly turn it back down. Aren't I mean?

Porsche-poor 09-02-2012 09:12 PM

Way to go.

G'day Ladies and Gentlemen,

Still cruising around outback Queensland, on the dinosaur trail. Tomorrow, we are heading towards the coast for a couple of days fishing.

Here ya go Dave, the Southern Cross (on a full moon) :D from Porcupine Gorge National Park, Saturday night.

Last night, I had another go as the moon was a little later rising. Hmm couldn't manage to get a good photo for some reason....perhaps too much port again...

Great song!

When the kids were living here getting back on their feet, and possil would be playing some game on line and wake me up I would kick him off the router with my phone. Eventually he got the hint

slodave 09-03-2012 02:09 AM

Morning, Rick.

Rick V 09-03-2012 02:31 AM

Hey Dave

Outback Porsche 09-03-2012 03:19 AM

G'day Rick/Dave

Morning folks. I took a shower like a regular human today. No body parts or areas had to be wrapped in plastic, and with a long handle brush-sponge I can even wash my feet. I did have my wife help dry my legs and feet since I am not allowed to bend more than 90 degrees at the hips.
