that is the 'stijn special price' and reflects that i reserve visitation rights.

i've only had one nibble. i am a bit surprised. perhaps i am doing it wrong. here is a link to the ad, if anyone cares to critique:

Evening Y'all. another beautiful day, even though it started out with the confirmation that apple sucks massive donkey nads.
Locking a device so that you can't use it for additional uses is just big brother to the extreme. Long live android!!!!

GH85Carrera 09-12-2012 01:57 PM

That is the essence of Apple. They want 100% control of the hardware all the time. The stuff works fine as long as you play by the rules. If you want to do some logical task that they don't want you do do then you must be stopped!

Evening Glen,

nynor 09-12-2012 02:11 PM

and the apple tax.

Howdy Jeff. Glad to see you made it back in one piece

nynor 09-12-2012 03:06 PM

i got another nibble on the spoon. the guy wants to buy it outright (which is fine by me) and asked a price. i said $750 to get the conversation going, thinking that $675 or so might be the final price. what think ye, the stijn braintrust?

Outback Porsche 09-12-2012 03:08 PM

Cheers Rick. I'm glad too :-) Have a few new squeaks and groans to look for and fix. Only real casualty on the car was a light globe, although the suspension has now done three major offroad trips and will be renewed before the next one. It was good to sleep in my bed last night :-) Now time for breaky and unpack the car. May even give the old girl a wash and polish (lots of new surface scratches).

nynor 09-12-2012 03:10 PM

jeff, i gotta do a major trip in OZ sometime in my life. that sounds like a blast.

I have no idea, I don't sell guns. New guns take their place next to the old guns and the pile grows

GH85Carrera 09-12-2012 03:13 PM

Jeff are the creaks and groans in the car or your body?

Rick V 09-12-2012 03:16 PM

I just wonder if Sharyn is a back seat driver......................

Hehe. I've got a little vid to edit and post up....how to scare the crap out of your Missus on a sand dune...

After 10 hrs on the road yesterday, I must admit I was a little creaky :-)

D, and anyone else for that matter. I need little excuse to go for a drive. Anytime you want to come on over, I'd be happy to take you on a tour.
