Whoooo Hoooooo. I got to play in the garage on a real project. Yesterday as I drove home from work I noticed the AC took a long time to start blowing cold. That was strange and I made a note to myself to look into it. Then when we went to dinner the AC was acting funny. Today on my morning errand I had no AC at all. :(. I got home and changed into garage clothes. It took a while but I finally discovered the dang pressure switch on the power steering was defective. A simple bypass and the AC was working. Since I am one of those folks that like things to work as designed (or better) I went to buy a replacement pressure switch. I guess every 26 years I can afford to replace it.
It will cost me 0.0001525 per mile!

My wife was wondering what I was doing and I told her I "get" to play in my garage! It sure beats having an boring appliance car. I really enjoyed testing myself and trying to figure out the problem.

She already knows about plants vs zombies. Our son likes that one and since he no longer lives here I don't have to listen to it.
I am going to start playing dead trigger just to have an annoying phone game too. :)

I thought I was (avail 4 dinner), but Mrs. Noah just informed me the babysitter's on her way over and we're going out. Some groupon she bought on a whim. BUT, in the meantime I asked her if it would be OK for me to invite you over for dinner tomorrow night. (God, I feel like a little kid). She said yes. Can David come over to play tomorrow evening? Or lunch. Lunch is good.

Dave, if I'm soldering some wires on a motorcycle, is one of those gun-type soldering irons too big? Am I better off with a pencil-style iron?

Depends how big the wires. I use my gun to mostly solder wires to batteries. My soldering station works for everything else these days.
