Good morning folks.

G-man I gave up on wine long ago. I never found a single wine that I thought "wow that is good" and wine is the hangover king. Of course I feel the same way about hard liquor. I just stick to beer. I have said "Damn that is good" to a few thousand beers in my life.

I have had a few glasses of sparkling wine or Champagne, but those are rare. We have a bottle of good Champagne in the fridge that has been there since 1999. One of my wife's friends bought it for us to have for New Years Eve 2000.

Glen, I feel the same way about lots of beer. ;)


But I have said, damn that's good whiskey a few times.... ;)

I only drink alcohol-free beer. I got tired of the buzz and after-effects of alcohol way back before I met my wife. She can't handle alcohol at all, so we match up well on that.

And that why there are thousands of whiskey makers, and thousands of beer makers. I have no facts but I would guess there are more beer makers in the world than whiskey makers.

Several years ago I gave a buddy a bottle of Crown Royal I had owned for 15 years. I was never gonna drink it. He said it evaporated quickly at his house. ;)
