Good Friday morning folks.

The alternator on my El Camino cost me 35 bucks back in 1993. It has a lifetime warranty. I have swapped it 8 or 10 times over the years. It is a real easy swap, but they should last longer. The latest one died after 4 months. I went to a local rebuild shop and he made me a up one wire unit for $75 that will last from parts he had on hand. I am going to take the last dead one back in to Autozone and get it swapped one more time and put in on the shelf. In 5 or 10 years when the current one dies I will have a ready to go replacement. Assuming I remember I have it.

After swapping the alternator I set up my new Apple router. That sucker was expensive but hopefully it will do better than the last two cheap routers.

Whoo hoo, i like my new primary care doc!!!! just called to let me know I had a refill for my pain killer waiting at the pharmacy. He didn;t want me to run out with my foot still healing.

Keep that foot healing and PLEASE don't post any pictures of it.

I only have one friend that wants to see it. She is a nurse.

Well I had a nice long 45 min conversation with The Geek Squad because the chowder head I spoke with last week dropped the ball.
Beth dropped her phone and shattered the screen so off we went to Best Buy to ship it out ( I have a killer insurance plan) and when the phone came back it was sans battery. Well guess what that is covered as well only I have to call another number to get that ball rolling, no biggie and I kind of forget about it. Well a week later no battery and no communication from Best Buy.
They neglected to order the replacement and Beth is going to be stuck with her loser loaner for another week. Oh she is NOT happy. I told the guy in the phone if there were anymore screw ups they would be dealing with an angry, menopausal, blonde.
I think we finally got that straightened out.

Bleh, long day of work. Going out of town tomorrow (just 80 miles) for some fun and got about 2 hours worth of work that I'm gonna get knocked out while I'm there. Hope to be back in time to get some serious fishing in.
I've been abusing the coupons and specials from the Dick's sporting goods that just opened up and I am stocked on all the little crap one uses in fishing. ( $10 off $25 dollar purchase, I've used the coupon 6 times now for purchases that are almost dead on 25.......I've got hooks, bobbers, weights out the ass now.....picked up frozen bait as well for when I don't feel like catching bait. )

Today's tip of the day: don't fall off of a ladder while 15 feet in the air.
