Who is looking at your arse?

Me,.... I'm too far away, so not guilty!!

Beautiful day again today, Hubby and numba2 went for a drive in Marilyn, might be the last top down for the Fall, weather is supposed to go to ****, again tomorrow.

Me I was servicing the new (!) sewing machine I got in yesterdays drive, and I have yet to check out the festoon lights we bought, one thing at a time.

Next weeks job is to to check out the signal indicator/hi/low/beam switch, the high beam doesn't work, but all other bits do. So have searched threads and see that it is most likely a little alignment problem in the connectors of the switch, so will be checking it out. Not looking forward to pulling the steering wheel, didn't enjoy that job on Pusha, although it is not difficult , there is just so little room when working on the interior, and after redoing all of the dash and the interior of Pusha, I spend weeks inside that thing, and I was always a stiff as an 80 year old after working in there. But I have to do this to pass the certification required to register her in Maryland, I would think.

If you have not seen Argo, go see it. Especially if you were not born yet. Good history lesson.

Porsche-poor 11-12-2012 10:20 PM

Connor and I went. Good movie.
Still looking at options on mov files.

slodave 11-12-2012 10:21 PM

What happened to the options D gave you?

Went to doc today. Foot is looking better. Is filled in up to skin level, down to only 4cm x 5cm, and does not look nearly as gory. They did put more pixie dust on it.

The really interesting bit...If doc has me re-dress the wound myself insurance will not pay for the bandages and sterile stuff to do wound care. If doc sends out home care nurses to do it, insurance pays for them to come out AND ALL the supplies they use?!?

Morning Y'all
Okay Richard it is simple, you need to put in a request for a beautiful nurse of questionable morals to tend to you.

slodave 11-13-2012 01:27 AM

Yeah, one that looks like Taylor Swift. On man, she is hawt!

Morning all. After a few balmy days here, we're back to Fall weather. Wet and dreary. Oh well, it's better the weather is nice on your days off and sucks when you have to work.

slodave 11-13-2012 03:18 AM

For your consideration. (Gets better after the 7 minute mark.)

Dave,

thats was soooo funny, I was laughing so much I had tears in my eyes, what a way to start the day!!!!

I'm glad that I'm not a guy who could hurt all the "salad vegetables" doing so many stupid things!!

And the face plants, priceless...

GH85Carrera 11-13-2012 06:06 AM

Funny stuff Dave. It makes me realize the world is full of lots of idiots. We did some crazy things as kids but jumping from the roof of a building never crossed our minds as something fun to try.

Good morning folks.

Porsche-poor 11-13-2012 06:59 AM

Dave still investigating it all.

Great fail vids.

Azzy, you will quickly find getting the switch out is not much fun. Back 15 years ago when mine started acting up I tried the cheap fixes. That was just a waste of time for me. It would work for a few months and when bad again. The FIX was to replace the switch. I suspect if you dig around on the technical section you will find the consensus is to replace the switch. It has been 15 years and 50 or 60 thousand miles and no problem yet. It is likely due to wear out again soon.
